The Rolling Home Kickstarter

Featured Replies

Hey guys thought I'd share this on behalf of my friend in hope that he might get some support and interest for his latest project and great work!

It revolves around his personal project of documenting his travels in his self build t4 van and this project is to celebrate his milestone and fund his further adventures!

Here's a word from the man himself:

Hi everyone -

We have finally finished our book - 'The Rolling home'

'Documenting 80,000 miles and counting in our self build T4 van; The Rolling Home. A handy hard bound book, 208 pages brimming with photos, words and illustrations. With work from ourselves and friends. We hope the book will inspire as many people as possible to get out on the road in their very own rolling homes'

Visit our Kickstarter now to pre order your copy and support the project.

This project is a chance for us to share our memories from the last five years, along with helpful advice for anyone thinking of buying their own rolling home, or anyone already out on the road ; ) We also wanted to show how easy it is to do, you dont need a huge budget, space or building skills. Just a lot of imagination and a good map! We have also had a lot of emails and messages about our build over the years, so we included some detailed drawings and to scale plans!

Thanks so much, keep rolling!

  • That squint bike in the second picture is doing my f***ing nut in! Why go to all that effort for what is otherwise a great photo, and not straighten up the bike?! OCD overload.

  • Absolutely nothing is straight in that photo (well, the guy might be, I don't know), and neither should it be - if he wanted it all straight he'd have put it in a house!
