Arb blocks

Featured Replies

Hunters are good and user friendly, but it's down to the operator.

The issue with a lot of places is they simply don't understand what they're trying to achieve and what effects what with the cars characteristics.

Everyone runs round on adjustable height suspension but who bothers to set corner weights etc, which can transform a car.

And who says the OE specs are good for a modified car? A standard car to standard specs yes, but having your toe reset to parallel and -600 degrees front camber so your wheels fit isn't reslly "right" anywho.

Whenever it comes to anything like this its best to establish what is needed from the car, from that appropriate setup and equipment can be recommended.

Hunters are good, dependant on which heads they use could have arch clearance issues with your ride height and wheel fitment. But as I said, good equipment, bad operator = bad job

Nothing much to say really other than it would be wise to have a helper pulling forward your arb as you screw in the blocks...it's fairly stiff to pull on your own, saying that I've removed and fitted

  • raise both wheels in the air and remove the old parts , you should be able to pull the bar forward or have a helper do it , some folk have used a ratchet strap or small jack to force it where it needs

  • only a couple ways have worked for me. raise front wheels up lift arb up with jack. then fit sizzer jack inbetween gearbox and arb or inside the arch with abit of wood, all just to help push the arb f
