This tastefully modified example has been lovingly cared for and is presented in truly exceptional condition. Throughout my ownership it has been garaged without exception, meticulously maintained by a Volkswagen specialist, and only ever run on Shell V-Power Nitro+ fuel. It has never wanted for anything; present, alongside the original handbook and service documentation, is a ring binder with invoices for all work carried out, including previous MOT certificates.

The exterior really is in excellent condition. With the exception of slight stone chipping, as to be expected for a car of this age, the paintwork is factory and flawless. All four Monza alloy wheels are unmarked and fitted with 205/45/R16 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres. Both the wheels and brake calipers are regularly sealed which is reflected in their condition. As can be seen in the photos, the boot handle is also immaculate and free from corrosion, an area of weakness on both 9n and 9n3 models.

The car comes from a smoke and pet free home; hence the interior is in equally good condition. The Interlagos cloth upholstery and anthracite headlining are in excellent order, with both driver and passenger seat bolsters free from wear. The rear seats have seldom seen use. Both front seats and door panels have recently been treated with Gtechniq I1.

Clean examples are becoming increasingly more difficult to come by, and you would be hard pushed to find a better one than this.
