Looking in the manual at the camber settings, I see it says -25' with a + - tolerance of 20' . Not recognizing the ' symbol in relation to degrees, but guessing it was some sort of fraction of a degree, I had a look round and discovered its the symbol for an arc minute. Which is a sixtieth of a degree.

25' (arc minutes) converted to decimal is 0.416 degrees. 20' is o.33 degrees.

So instead of the Gunsons gauge, I went for a digital protractor/inclinometer for ease of use and accuracy.

check that they will do the camber before booking it in ,..alot of tyre centers wont or cant do it , even had them lie and say its non adjustable when it is

I've had that too. When I told them that it was, they said the bolts would be seized up. I told them the bolts were freed up and non rusty. They still didnt want to know.

I'm going to be the annoying one now. And recommend you don't try doing it yourself, and tell you it's not accurate, and to get it done properly.

However, before you even entertain the idea of doing a setup you need to check there's no "error states" if you like on the car.

What's the point in pissing around doing an alignment if somethings damaged or fitted incorrectly on the car.

Iv seen a lot of "home fitted" lowering kits by "enthusiasts" who have educated themselves on reading the Internet and they're often wrong because people don't actually understand what they're doing.

It's okay being able to undo and change a component but if you don't understand how things work you're kind of doing jobs blindly because you could be ignorant to something which actually could be important.

before I'd even advise on this a better description would help, you could simply be turning in far too aggressively forcing the car into under steer. Well, losing traction, sounds like you're on the power lol.

A better description of what the cars doing would help.

Ideally info on mods on the car and some photos of how things are fitted.

As MikeyMK said - what was the wear like on the removed tyres (this could indicate what's to blame)

If the car symmetrical? Ie does it have this issue as bad going right as it does left ?

How does the steering feel? Heavy, light? Inconsistent?

How does the car drive, will it wonder around on a straight road?

The Internet is a great thing for getting guidance and information, however you need to be careful as someone could interpret what you're saying wrongly and misadvise you.

all that said, an alignment issue could well be to blame. I have found my car pretty sensitive to front toe settings (more accurate than you can do with a bit of string without turn plates) so yeah - more info would be good?
