Hi all,

Looking to get some tyres on my 15x7 wheels and looking for some advice.

Don't want 165-45 stretch (Bit too much IMO)

I'm considering;

175-50 (Hankook kinergy)

185-45 (Nankang NS2 - Any opinions)

195-45 (Falkens?)

Reviews on the tyres themselves is welcome, as well as pictures of the set up. (I've looked on tyrestretch.com, just after more pictures if anyone is happy to share on here)

Hey Jeeves, I was just about to ask the same question myself, hope you don't mind if I jump in on your post? I just bought a set of 15x7 Rota Zero Plus' and they came with 165/45/15 Federal Formoza FD1s but 2 need replacing. Honestly they don't look too stretched on 7's.

I'm new to tyres myself, but I've mixed reviews of the Nankangs, and I'd rather pay a bit more money for a set of decent tyres, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it :).

I asked the question about the nankangs on facebook. Seem to have a mixed response but I think I'm going to go for them and see for myself. I want the 185/45 tyre so don't really have many options.

Those don't look to bad for 165/45 but I dunno, I'm wary of too much stretch. I just want to drive and not have it in the back of my head that my tyre pressure might be too low to keep the tyre on :L

The 185/45's are a nice compromise.

Ah fair enough, although remember about your rolling radius, I think 185/45 might put your Speedo off by a bit. Have a look at willtheyfit.com if you haven't already.

Stick with 195/45/15 anything smaller will negatively effect your handling. I ran 175/50/15 for a while as couldn't find any other sizes and it was terrible.

165 tyres are even worse on a wider wheel, but I guess if your stretching tyres your not really concerned about actually driving the car :)
