Thought I would start this up to see what amazing, unique, weird or just favourite cars that we have all seen in the flesh...not on the internet lol Since living down here and working in London I have seen all manner of things.

The most special car I have ever seen personally was a porsche 911 sport classic. I saw it at a place called burgh heath in a supercar garage and I walked past it every day for a week, Had a nice gander around it and the manager let me look inside it because he saw me a couple times lol

Its rarity is one thing. They only made 250 and it incorporates all the details from the great 911's. It has the classic Fuchs style alloys, one off double bubble roof, one off duck tail spoiler and the wider rear of the carrera 4, black headlight rings like from the RSR years back and a classic grey colour with almost a peppermint tinge to it.

In that garage were 2 Veyron's, I've seen multiple Ferrari's and Lamborghini's..Not long ago I even saw a new porsche 918 in westminster and asked to race him in a network rail transit but he declined . This though even though I'm not a porsche guy is the best I have seen...it was maybe 3 years back now and I don't have the phone with the pictures but here are some from google for the illustration.

also been to the movie studios and seen most of the star cars , batmobile , general lee , knight rider , herbie , munsters etc

Where was that Steve? I went to a place called cars of the stars or something in Devon that had the a team van and the actual car used I'm chitty chitty bang bang etc, small place but was cool

Yeah I saw some of the movie cars in Orlando, but I was quite a bit younger, so don't recall so well...

Either way, replicas are just as beautiful.

Yeah I hear they are common too, there's a few replicas but they look exactly like the real thing so it's hard to tell lol

was in cali once , up early one morning looking out the window and loads of cobras kept going past and i was thinking wtf ,ended up going out in the car and there a huge cobra show like less than a mile away lol

saw some killer reps and some genuine ones too ....the genuine ones are pretty shonky up close but yeah cool car for sure , bet they're an animal to drive

Handling is said to be a bit on the ropey side lol gotta love the shelby daytona coupe which is pretty much based on the cobra but with a revised body that was more aerodynamic and a few other bits and pieces, they only made a few of em too

Yeah, by no means a refined car. Would love to give one a thrash though...

Aston Martin Bulldog, it never went into production, most mornings it would fly past me on my way to work, the noise was unbelievable :)I don't have any photos of it as it was pre mobile phones!!!

Amongst my top favorite cars ever, has for a long while been the Porsche 356. I've seen many ruined ones but the pure and original 'A' cannot be beaten for me.

To have driven one of these in the 1950s, still recovering from WW2 and with horses still on relatively empty roads, must have been amazing for both driver and witness. I don't think anything today could reach that. Even a Veyron, on the high street, would struggle to be as special.

Perhaps one of the only cars, for me, that could pull it off would be a 356A. They are stunning.

Just reminded myself, The london science museum has a Rover P4 except a bit of a special one. Its called the Jet 1 and is gas turbine powered

I think they only built one of them, it was a project to get Astons back into the endurance racing, I think it was sold to an Arab as a play thing :)

Agreed. Truly beautiful car. Would be sacrilege to do anything but restore one of those...
