Pretty happy with this to be fair, I thought it was down on power.

Nice smooth lines. Is that an ASZ engine yeti? Very nice torque ☺

Yeah. Could do with the bottom bit being a bit wider though. This has reinforced for me that it needs a taller gearbox. I think they ran it in 5th going by the top speed.

You'd be surprised how long the 4th gear is. They wouldn't get a accurate reading from a higher gear by i could be wrong . 4th is generally 1:1 ratio so you get straight power from the engine to the diff. Is it a 6 speed box?

It'd never top 90 in 4th, it doesn't go much past 105 in 6th.

Yeah, it's a 6 speed, but for some clever reason Seat decided what a diesel needs is a close ratio box. It's that bad I can drive about using 2nd 4th and 6th all day if I wanted to. Can't actually remember the last time I used 5th.

There's no wind resistance on rolling road so I can imagine top end speed would be more, but not 15mph more.

Fair point, I'd got loads of stuff in the boot as well, that probably knocks 5mph off 8>T

It was a brilliant day, one of the best RR meets for a few years i think, reminds me what a good community we have in this club.

I was very happy with my 6n seeing as it was all in bits last week having a new clutch and i wasn't sure i could get it done in time, 94BHP isn't too shabby at all i don't think, it seems this car just likes to be used as its very happy indeed now.

Up for sale now so look at the for sale ads if anyone is interested :-)
