Pulled into car park today to go to the gym, a guy was standing there putting his thumbs up to me, didn't have a clue he came up to me and said my bready was looking really nice, then found out he's the owner of the only other bready in our area, fantastic!!

All wheels are now stripped to bare metal, planning on having a polished rim (I know a lot of sanding and time ahead) and white in the middle[emoji1305], ordering springs and dampeners at the end of the month, can't wait for the lows[emoji51]

Good for you, looks like a silid build. Taking your time will always give you a better result

Looks cracking mate! Need to get round to doing this to mine.

Do my eyes deceive me or has it had a bump to the rear? The rear bumper looks bent in slightly around the right licence plate light...

  • Author

It's been backed into something in the past I think, only bumper is bent could do with taking it off and try bending it back

Yeah, I have a similar issue. Woman went in to the back of me about 18 months ago. It has bent the body slightly where the bumper bracket attaches. Hoping to pull it back out without too much issue...

Now it's mechanically sound I can focus on exterior, lows at the end of the month [emoji1303]

Well I think I'm going to have to roll my arches, unless when I've got the wheels on with lower profile tyres on will be ok, we'll see [emoji23] can't go down hill and turn at the same time [emoji85]

They look like 14s should be fine with a lower profile, don't role the arches.

  • Author

Arches are going to have to be resprayed in the near future as the paint has chipped away from where it scrubbed and pushed the arch out:(, I want a G40 engine for my bready so bad!!, but so hard to find one :(

So today a few of us decided to go on a road trip!, apart from one little hick up before we set off properly where an earth came off and the car wouldn't idle, I soon fixed the problem, the we were off we did a 120mile round trip and it is safe to say I really enjoyed it, didn't have one problem, the roads were awesome to drive on especially now it's lowered had a lot of fun, got a lot of compliments, took a few photos and friends did, it's the furthest I've ever been in it and it survived!!
