Out with the old, in with the newish...

Featured Replies

So after owning two Mk2F polo's, decided to get a newer model and got a 5 door 1.9 TDi Polo 9N. Safe to say it is a great little car and I do enjoy the extra power from it compared to the Mk2F polo's I had.

As with every car though, it came with problems after I was out and about in it... Starter motor is making a horrendous noise every time I start the car and my heater control unit has gone off one by one.. easy fixes but hopefully nothing else goes wrong with the car (touching wood while I say this!)

Only things I am going to do to it is hopefully get a set of alloys for it (have not decided which ones) and also lower it a little bit. Might go a bit crazy and get it re-mapped at some point to get 50 extra horses out of it 8>) safe to say that will be more than enough for me!

Hopefully in the future it will look good for shows and I'll be making appearances as I yet to go to one with you lot!

You can't beat a freshly washed black car :)

Oh I know Nige. I have to wash it pretty much every week to get rid of the seagull crap plastered all over the car, that's what happens though when you live next to the coast haha!

plans sound sweet, esp if you get it remaped . Is that your r32 and small bumper golf mk2  ?

Nimal

I spotted the little R32 hiding away there as well, yours?

You sir, Have a cool dad

Tidy looking car. Is that the 100hp?

White Golf looks nice too.

Got to love that R32 though.

Yeah it's 100hp, more than enough I suppose but can't complain with a bit more power! And very other car you see is my dads, he's crazy for his Golfs, even got a Mk2 GTi in the back garden because there's not enough room on the drive for all the cars!

Nice car - loads of scope with these motors to mod and get extra power.

Yes I do, plus he's got that 1.8 Golf Driver, Mk4 Golf GTi which is hiding behind my car in one the pictures and also a Mk2 golf GTi in the garden..lucky sod he is!

Nothing wrong with that, my spares car is a 100hp 5speed, I drove it back and it's not a lot slower than my 130. They've still got a good whack of torque where you want it and they're not strangled by the gearbox like mine is.
