From the Club Polo postbag (enquiries to the seller via the email address on the advert please, I am not connected):

Hi. I am not a member of the Owners Club but have been members previously of an owners club of another vehicle many years ago, so appreciate the work you guys do and how much cars are looked after by members.
Anyway taking that in to account I am looking to sell my mothers polo and wondered if there are any members who may want to take up the option of the car before I have to use the normal on-line selling sites where anyone will take it and probably not look after it.

Car is a genuine 1 lady owner from new 1998 "S" plate 1.4 GL in Blue. 5 Door hatch, alloy wheels (Totally Standard spec), unfortunately no power steering which was standard then on this model. 22300 miles from new and has been garaged every night all bar about 3 months in all those years. Seats have never seen the light of day as seat covers fitted from day 1, Radio Cassette (Removable front) never had a tape it in.
MOT until June 2016, a few advisories last time on disc for pitting etc, but only due to low usage. My mother has not actually driven for 5 years and car has been used by my father occasionally, and been to Drift Bridge VW for Service / MOT etc.

Car is in Chessington, Surrey and can be viewed by appointment through myself either by e-mail or phone [removed by yeti]. Looking for around £2450:00.

I have no photos yet, as she just finally decided she won't drive again.

Regards

Mark Hayes.
