1985 Stratos Blue GL Breadvan Daily Project

Featured Replies

I bought the car back in August with the plan to make it a usable and tidy retro first car. Since then not a lot in the way of progress due to a few set backs, mainly fire and carb related😂.

I've also passed my test and drive the car 30 miles daily which seems like no hardship.

I have some plans for her but all shall be seen soon enough hopefully.

Anyway here she is when I bought her, Enjoy!

More photos will be added soon!

Got some 5.5x13 et35 wheels for the bready, anyone know if they will fit on the back without arch work?

Will be on coilovers soon too, cheers!

They will fit fine mate. Keep the tyre profile nice and low and you should see no scrubbing.

165/55 sound good to you?

As long as you don't mind the gearing, though 60s or even 65s will be fine with a 165. It's with 175 things get interesting, or lower offset, or 'big' tread brands. Pirelli 165/55s are far smaller than Nankang 165/55 so it's not a simple science by any means.
