My 6n2 clicks behind the center of the dashboard intermitantlly sounds like Hazards or indicators whilst they are not switched on and the lights don,t flash when its doing it , any common leads to this fault ? Also drivers electric window will work then not work at various times. Bad conection/ dicky switch ? The passenger side never works I,m guessing this is the motor though ?

The windows, first pull back the rubber tubing over the wires between the door and body as it's very common to have broken wires in this area :) if there isn't any damaged wires, then the switches are the next most common item to cause problems, they sometimes can be dissmantled & cleaned, there is a posting on here about how to do this, or new switches from VW/TPS around £20

I had a similar problem on my Octavia and I sprayed the contacts for the indicator stalk and touch wood it hasn't returned :)

Cheers for this ! All sounds logicall it does seem to set the clicking off if the wipers or indicators are operated so maybe the contacts on these switches are the cause ?

Comon fault on the 6n2 the realay is in the switch hence the switch or the indictor stalk will require changing,

more often than not I find its the stalk....
