Well thought I may aswell start a build thread although I haven't picked it up yet [emoji16]

Here's my new 92 CL coupe aav 1.3 5 speed with 84k miles on the clock, that I won for a steep £20!!

I would like to make this more a of a performance based project rather and have my bready as a 'stance' car (didn't know how else to put it). I'd like to try and tune the aav and I've been looking into (and going to continue looking at) a possible turbo conversion. Don't know yet how easy or costly this will be. Want something I can really get my teeth into and basically learn more about cars mechanically. any ideas are welcome [emoji3]

Speaking from experience on doing it to a G40 lump though it isn't a cheap conversion. Also unless you have ALL of the parts and have been mocking things up along the way then it isn't the kind of thing that will be done over a weekend either.

If you have the time, money and motivation it will be a worth while conversion.

030 AF should be stamped on the cam on one of the sections between the lobes.

The polo is finally home!!! had a blow out on the trailer along the m60 but got it sorted fairly easily
