Hello again all,

From having my Polo 9n 3 years ago till the start of April it finally had to go.

But onto another project and more memories!

Here is Ratty v2

69k miles

MOT just expired but I had it MOT'd and passed with no advisories

Tinted Windows

RS3 Grill

I started simple so removed the numberplate and all excess around it for a mean look, and I've got to say it makes a big difference.

I decided to leave to plate off from then and ordered a numberplate sticker, put that on and don't mind it for now! Will run it and decide if I get used to it or not. (Also got my R4TUY numberplate on[emoji1303])

Then was time for ordering all of the parts,

- FK Coilovers ordered with Shortened drop links I will run these until I can afford air.

- Bulb set ordered, ice white for the mean front.

- Glass Wiper Delete

- Subwoofer cables and old Subwoofer in the boot

- New genuine Audi A3 mats

And last but not least the new wheels (for now)

Planning to save up for some 3SDM 0.06s. At the moment they're out of my budget and I really want to run some alloys. So I managed to pick up some Merc SLR Reps for £225 with 2 good continental tyres!

Finally home from collecting my wheels! 2 hour drive there and 2 hours back[emoji1303] not nice after a long shift at work but they're home and mine!

Could benefit for a refurb which I may do, and still need to sort out tyres. Thinking 225/35/18 all round, barely any stretch at all but low profile for a lower look, hopefully I can add a bit of fitment when they're on aswell but we'll come to that on Saturday when the A3 is lowered.

Pictures kind of deceived me.. In a good way, they're closer to gun metal grey to silver, which I look the look of more.

Lots of changes since the last update!

All lowered now on FK coilovers, sitting with helpers out at the moment. Did a test fit with the mercedes alloys on and sits on the arch so will have to put the helpers back in and maybe a bit of camber. Also got my waterpump and cambelt done by a mate when I got my coilovers done which was decent!

Went to the pub the other day and parked on grass so took a little picture, normal ugly plate back on as I got pulled over for my illegal ones:-( Will always be removing the numberplates for shows etc.

Lastly just primered up my alloys to be sprayed - now going for gloss black instead of gun metal grey. Going for a stealth A3 8P look:spiteful:

Will update when my alloys are sprayed and on! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Dubs in The Park on Sunday!

SLR Reps all sprayed up in gloss black and didn't actually come out to bad let alone me and my mate did it! Got my shotgun shells in the post this morning too!

Planning to run 215/40/18 tyres all round for now, and when I have a bit of money may plan to get a little stretch8>)

Long time no post!

Went for 225/40/18 tyres in the end for the SLR wheels. No stretch at all for now but does the job! This is how she sits now:

Went to Stonor Park car show (I know another Audi Killjoy :spiteful:) Amazing show with some lovely cars!

Got pulled over for my numberplate sticker on the front and for my illegally spaced rear plate so had to get them all sorted. Cable tied onto the front now and just remove for shows, easily enough

Auto Perfection Pro Glaze & Intensify Show Wax doing it's job8>)

Haven't changed much after that. Car is a smooth ride - doesn't sit low to the ground at all like the Polo did, but it's decent. Already sorting new wheels for August.

I swear I only post every couple of months

After 7 months I am back! A lot has been sorted over since the end of 2016:

Firstly, the Audi underwent some work on the roof. There was a pretty long crack from the previous owner and I decided to sort it out to make it look a little better. Did set me back a couple of hundred quid but was definitely worth it!

How it always looked since I bought the Audi:

With the body repair man - Local mate who lives around 10 miles from me

Roof fixed & resprayed, looks spot on now:thumbsup:

I have finally got a set of 3SDM 0.06 8.5J/9.5J 18s. These were on the car until November 2016 (I took them off for winter and to give them a good clean before UD'17 in March)

Air has also been bought! AirLift V2 3/8 2 x 444cc Compressors, brand new camber & dampening adjustable top mounts and even comes with a bootbuild to fit perfectly in the Audi, lucky buy.. Has only been on a previous Audi for 3 months then taken off:D Currently in the middle of fitting this. Everything has been wired in. Just for the plumbing and to fit the struts and everything is sorted! Waiting until it's a bit warmer to finish it off:smile:

MOT is coming up in March just before Ultimate Dubs. Going to get the ol' girl a proper service to make sure she's all good for show season.

Spent the weekend sorting out the air ride, some good and some bad things!

Rears are on and lined up to everything, everything for the boot build has been sorted.

Unfortunately coming round to so the front struts we realised that the struts were 55mm and my hub was only 50mm:-o

Bit of a pain in the ass but I have ordered some 55mm hubs and they will go on Wednesday with the struts  - this also gives me the chance to get brake upgrades too so actually works out well as I needed to sort my brakes anyway!

The car sits beautifully on the back and could even do with a little 5mm spacers, but I will leave it how it is for now until I sort the fronts and get a full service done.

Some pictures of the rear for now - See you all at UD'17
