I'm in prestwick pictures are from the previous owner after a machine polish since then the door and inner sill has took a slight hit and has now started to rust, hopefully I can find another black door then just the sill to sort

Seems I have another to do job on the gti.

Today I pulled away at a junction with the car full at the clutch started slipping in 2nd and 3rd.

can get a LUK clutch kit from eurocarparts right now for £62 using there 20% discount code which isn't bad at all but does anyone know of anywhere else that does decent clutch kits even cheaper ?

always used LUK and sach

Today I replaced the wheel bearing without too many issues no pics sorry as I was in a rush to get it done before my son finished nursery.

went ahead and bought a new LUK clutch it will be the next to do job as clutch is definitely on its last legs, biting point is gradually getting further up the pedal and getting clutch slip when outing the foot down!

Looks like a nice GTI mate :) looking forward to the build

Hi Djyo, was the clutch easy enough to do as I have recently brought a 6n2 GTi that needs a clutch.  I've done a few clutchs before just wondered if you had any tips or advise?
