ATE Master Cyclinder identification/specs

Featured Replies

Hi, Just wanting help identifying the bore and stroke length of an ATE master cylinder....some kind of online catalogue would be a great help. I have 2 slightly different master cylinders, I have tried making sense of the markings and stamps on them but to no avail. Internet searching is proving not very fruitful and the ATE website doesn't want to go far enough back in time.

the lower one is from my scrapped 6N, and the other is a mystery!!

Right is the 6N, but what do all the marking mean? The 6n has 288vw stamped on it and the other 3308g?

I am guessing the mystery one is a 23mm bore?? but thats as far as i've got.
