Vladimirs coupe

Featured Replies

Hi guys, thought I would start a thread for the little polo I brought a few weeks ago as a daily/work horse.

So it's not been very well looked after and needs a lot of TLC

Its a 1.3 Genesis coupe, resprayed in a ford blue.

What I've done so far:

Gave it a oil and filter change with fuel and air filters as well.

Fitted new rubber mounts for the fuel filter bracket as they had gone.

Replaced one of the headlights as it as smashed.

Fitted a new thermostat

Retumbled boot lock as it was corroded up.

Removed the tow bar and filled the holes (tow bar is for sale if anyone is intrested)

Removed the rear wiper motor and arm as the washer pipe wasn't even connect and I like it without. (Also for sale)

Replaced the debadged grill with a normal one (also for sale)

In the pipeline:

Replace the cherry bomb exhuast as its stupid loud.

Fit new top mounts as they are gone

Fit new gear selector seal as its been siliconed up and leaking.

Future plans:

Get a rear bumper as its been cut out for the tow bar that was fitted.

Front window seals as are some random other make and don't fit properly.

New wheels unsure what though.

And a few other things that need attention.

will upload some pics soon
