which tyre size for 14" 6j wheels?

Hi all,

 

got a set of 14" wheels that are 6j wide and wanted to know which of these two tyre sizes are most suitable?

 

is anyone here running these sizes I any of there   Wheels?

 

165/45r14 or 165/55r14

 

they will be for a polo coupe mk2f

 

looking to get these fitted once arches are rolled.
