Xumado's MK3 Golf Tdi

Featured Replies

Bought this tank the other day to replace my GT Coupe.

165k Miles, its diesel and very Green! Not much else to say about it. It runs and drives and has MOT so can't say anything bad about it!

Not planning to do much with it. Maintain and run it mainly. Its already lowered, no idea how much or whether its springs, springs/shocks or coilys. I just know the ride is hard as f*ck and I've been sump bashing already

  • So actually did some things to it! Only because it was in dire shit XD  First was a set of the budgetest budget coilovers i could find as all the springs had been chopped and jumped out the seats

  • I've never liked it. I really hate coupes I think they're ugly. Plus I'm 6'3 n a fat bastard so I fit better in a golf :p

  • The pictures hide it well  one arch is rusty and I daren't touch the sills with a marshmellow with fear on it going through :( New sills are only 30 quid so thats the next job in January for MOT.

Looks sweet mate, look forward to seeing it soon

It did add some nice lows though! Just high enough to be used daily.

The pictures hide it well ;) one arch is rusty and I daren't touch the sills with a marshmellow with fear on it going through :( New sills are only 30 quid so thats the next job in January for MOT.

But the brakes gave me a shock when i took them off!

13,400 miles later.... Drivers sill collasped, turbo leaked 1L of oil every 300 miles and causing a James Bond smoke screen when I toed it, rad split, gearbox cracked and leaking, engine sump leaking and head gasket gone, leaking internally and externally the lil B@stard still done the 75 mile daily commute XD It has now been scrapped due to no hope in passing test next month. Only scrapped early due to its dislike of a pothole, obliterating the n/s/f wheel, wishbone and coilly D: Ahh well £300 well spent I'd say. Didn't owe me a penny!
