Hi,

Up for sale is my MK3 Golf GTI 8v, due to me buying another car I have no space to keep this.

Details of basic spec:

- 2L 8v 5 speed manual

- Electric Windows (rears go down but not up, replaced mechs)

- Central locking and dealership fitted alarm,immobiliser

- Electric sunroof (works and no leaks!)

- ABS

- Foglights

- Two keys and fobs.

- Heater works great cold and hot on all speeds

I got the car on 78k miles and this is the stuff I've done in the past 2 years of my ownership

- Cambelt & tensioner done around 91k miles (original cambelt done 68k miles but did it for peice of mind)

- Both front wheels bearings & ball joints

- Both inner and outer CV boots

- New reconditioned gearbox (reverse is a bit noisy but works fine)

- New clutch & cable

- Both front wings sprayed in Dragon green

- Genuine sills fitted both sides to a very high level (proper cut and weld job & all sealed up)

- Boot and bonnet have been resprayed

- New windscreen 2 months ago (green/blue top tint visor)

- New front grooved/drilled discs with new pads (I have the rears but haven't got around to fitting them)

- Serviced by myself (oil, coolant, air filter etc)

- New PAS belt

Mods I have done:

- FK AK Street Coilovers all around (new top mounts/bearings when fitted, not seized)

- Arches have been rolled cleanly (when i got the front wings I took all arch trims off and cleaned rears also, trims are bonded on now after bodywork sorted)

- 15" Banded steels powder coated silver - pretty clean but some scruffs around rims (8.5J rear 7.5J front all straight)

- Practically new Kuhmo 175/55 fronts and 195/45 rears

- 350mm wood momo & boss (do have original wheel if wanted)

- Full Colour Concept Salsa Green interior, doorcards (this is in great condition, just usual wear to drivers bolster)

- Full exhaust system with 3" polished tailpipe, looks really nice and is same level of noise as original exhaust

- Amber indicators all around, dewipered rear, satin black grill

- Polo coupe gear knob, leather gaiter with green stitch

- CD fischer holder

- Car has some EGDE speakers in, not my style but they work ok with general radio, I have put in a VW Beta 2 radio

Car is a great runner, never let me down, drives really smooth. I tend to average between 37-40mpg daily.

As mentioned there has been some replacement panels and bodywork done but overall the car is very clean, doesn't have any rust bubbles but does have a few dings/scratches etc around the car + roof (worst been on drivers door which is pictured) . Saying this it is nearing 20 years old.

Underneath is solid, it has had a few patches welded on rear feet wells but it's a good standard and all the usual bungs have been properly sealed up and it's very solid. I have kept on top of keeping it clean.

Interior is a really nice place to be, the Recaros are very comfortable daily. Headlining is pretty clean too (small bit pulling away at front after I had windscreen fitted but i'm probably been picky)

I do have quite a few spares that will come with the car including, alternator, wing mirrors, original longbeach wheels with pretty new 195/45/15 tyre, new central locking pump, plus lots more.
