Next on the list is a new gearbox as I destroyed the current one...ha! A re-trim with leather surrounds and G40 pattern inserts, remove the tints from the windows, put the plastic arch trims and door trims back on, alter the single wiper to sit on the lower passenger side and probably a fresh respray (poss the same purple all over again or back to black with a pearl lacquer...

Engine mods to come include a fast road cam, G60 green injectors and a ppp03 chip and a larger intercooler.

Sure does sound luck and it use to be that purple all over, unfortunately it got quite a number of deep scratches from being stored in my dad's garage business.

 

I'll get it done again in good time.

Very much so! I'd like to get it fully sprayed in it again, but for now I'm putting the arch trims etc back on.

 

i want to keep the engine bay looking pretty standard, though internally it's far from it lol

cat back 3" stainless system.

2" aluminium radiator

 

ive got green g60 injectors that need servicing before going on with the ppp03 chip and a fast road cam set up buddy 

 

All polished up and trims back on for vwnw show at tatton on Sunday just gone! 

Looks good! are you having PPP service your injectors or have you found someone else local to service and check flow rates?

Thanks mate and they don't service them anymore. I've not got round to it yet. For now I'm storing them until I can get a fast road cam, then I'll look to get them serviced etc

Nice rs charger to go on instead of my stage 2...looking forward to 2017.

Absolutely chuffed my oil leak is fixed, now I can enjoy the pleasures of the G without oil spitting out of the dipstick due to the one way valve melting! Where else does the crank pressure go...out of the dipstick!

Interior finished, par a good clean!

That is a lovely g40.

More new pics, next stop is a new exhaust system that fits better from longlife performance. Shrink fast road cam, vernier pulley and lightened followers that weigh 50gram each :))

Oh it sure will bro  I bet the 50gram lifters will make a little difference & tuned right with the vernier pulley...

 

going for a single exit that looks like its standard  & brushed metal but a big bigger in circumfrance
