I'm thinking engine bay more or less complete strip. Want to clean it all up including the scuttle tray. 

 

So so engine and gear box out there both getting cleaned up and painted. So may aswell oil and seals. 

 

Anyone use them gasket seals you can like caulk on and then they set as a seal? 

dont like caulk on gaskets as the excess can spread out inside the engine then fall off and block oil ways etc ...should be fine with good quality new gaskets

I am majorly impressed with this car it's the best mk2 I've seen since one of my mates had one and that was a thing of beauty too, keep up the good work

So the weekend cruising and camping went by a dream. This car puts such a grin on my face ear to ear. Faultless. Endless fun.
