My car was hit parked up last night and it's not pretty, anybody any idea how much to repair? I'm covered by insurance but i'm not sure it's worth the repair looking at the damage, would rather they write it off.

2 doors and a rear quarter, I doubt the insurance will repair that, it's probably easier to replace the car rather than repair. But what the hell hit your car

Depending on the year = value, will depend if they'll write it off, but as said above, it does look like it would be un-economical to repair :(

And a sill and quite possibly a B-pillar. Honest answer, I don't think I'd want it back after that level of insurance repair. 

If they do repair your left with a CAT C. so finger crossed they will write it off, Mate got left with a CAT C and the resale valve dropped so he drove it into the ground.

Often, a Cat C car will be on sale for less than the market value. This doesn’t necessarily mean it is worse than another car of its type, it just reflects that the car has suffered damage and previously been repaired.

However, it doesn’t take into account the type of damage. Beware that if you do buy a Cat C car, when you come to sell it the vehicle might not be worth as much as you think.

Get money from insurance and buy another car. if it was cosmetic like wings , bonnet, bumpers light etc then its easly repairable. The damage above would defo be a cat c and be worth alot less.

Take the money from the insurance, buy the car back from the insurance, break it for parts (usually worth up to 10 times what you pay them for the car) and get yourself a much shinier one to put the smile back on your face :)
