6n2 clocks

Featured Replies

Hi,

Has anyone tried to swop the clocks from a 6n2 1.0 Polo for the Gti ones with the chrome surround ??

Im not too bothered about the clocks themselves but i would like to change the faces from the boring grey 1.0l surronds to the Gti chrome ones ......is this possible as the surround screws on the faces seem rubber ????

Any help please....?

Harmo

  • The GTi speedo unit will fit without any problem, if you want the external temp display to work, you'll need to run a new wire from the speedo connectors to the front bumper and fit the correct sensor

How do u get on regarding the two plugs Nige ?

Is it just a case of unpluging and repluging and does it affect the readings on the clocks?

The plugs are the same on the base model & the GTi so they just plug in, the mileage will be whatever the GTi clocks have on them, if you have VCDS you can alter the mileage but only in an increase of mileage not wind it backwards
