2000 VW Polo 6n2 Crankshaft Sensor Replacement Help

Featured Replies

How's it going Polo drivers.

I have a problem with my Polo and I need to replace my Crankshaft Position Sensor.

I have already replaced my Camshaft Sensor, that was rather simple but I can't find any labelled diagrams of the 1.0 MPI Polo 6n2 Engine on Google.

I need to replace this part before Saturday as I'm selling my car. I would really appreciate it if somebody could get me some photos of where exactly the Crankshaft Sensor resides in the engine.

I read here that it's somewhere under the battery but I'd really appreciate if somebody could get me a few photos and maybe a small guide on how to replace this part.

Thank you for your time, much appreciated!

Thank you for the reply, do you have some more photos that can help me?

That is the only one I can find that shows it's location, but it can be a pig to get at !!  starter motor off and possibly the inlet manifold to get better access from above, from underneath just the starter motor.
