OK – so now my Polo Estate/Variant is sold after 8 years of ownership – and inevitably there are a few spare parts that I have acquired over the years – that now also need to be sold.

[Dog Guard – Rear Silencer – Wheels (sets of Steel & Alloy) – 1 x Rear Spring – Pedal Sensor – Mirror Switch – maybe more – see my other Ads – or send me a PM if you are interested in those not yet posted. Many also fit Saloon/Classic.]

 

This Ad is for the Rear Silencer (twin tail-pipe) – which is New Old Stock [not even that Old – been resting in my loft for ~ 3 ½ years] – and is literally “as new”.
It is BOSAL part No 282-643 – which is Equivalent to VW part No 6K5 253 609 L .
BOSAL are a reputable make – and it looks to be very well made.

I am asking just £35 for it – cash-on-collection – from my home 7 miles south of Salisbury on the A338.

Delivery – if you can’t collect from me – there are other possibilities so send me a PM telling me where you are – and giving your phone number and/or email address.
I haven’t yet explored couriers – but I generally use Hermes and they won’t take this as it is too long.
It is nearly 1.5 metres – and Hermes max is 1.2 metres. It weighs about 8 Kg – that is without any packaging. Not sure how I could package this – maybe just some cardboard to protect each of the 2 end sections, and around the silencer box. Probably there are other couriers that would take it.
Maybe you know a way of getting something this size collected/delivered.
