OK – so now my 2001 Polo Estate/Variant (6KV) is sold after 8 years of ownership – and inevitably there are a few spare parts that I have acquired over the years – that now also need to be sold.
[Dog Guard – Rear Silencer – Wheels (sets of Steel & Alloy) – 1 x Rear Spring – Pedal Sensor – Mirror Switch – Front Indicators (Orange & White) – maybe more – see my other Ads – or send me a PM if you are interested in those not yet posted. Many also fit Saloon/Classic even Caddy.]

This Ad is for the Set of Steel Wheels. Basically it is for Quantity 4.used wheels – but I also have one N.O.S. wheel (still has VW sticker on it). I will NOT sell the N.O.S. wheel until the set of Used ones are sold – so the buyer of the “Set” has the option to make it 4 or 5 wheels.

The Set of 4 Used wheels only did about 50K miles before they were replaced by alloys. They are in Very Good physical condition – they have no significant curb damage, maybe just the odd very light scrape – NO deep gouges & NO folded over lip. However they could do with a repaint to tidy them up – again there is NO deep rust pitting – but the original Black paint has light/small rust spots all over – and 2 of them have had a bad repaint in Silver [I hand painted them with Silver Smoothrite – only to find there was a problem with the paint – so it needs re-doing.]

I am asking just £40 for the Set of 4 Used Steels – cash-on-collection – from my home 7 miles south of Salisbury on the A338.
If you want to have a Set of 5 – to include the N.O.S. Wheel – I will do a special price of £60 for all of them. [That doesn’t mean the N.O.S. one will be £20 if I sell it on its own later on – it will be more.]

Although these came off my Polo Estate/Variant they should fit virtually any VW / VAG car that has 4 bolt x 100pcd – because as far as I know they all have the same spigot diameter. You just need to check that you are happy with the diameter / width / offset and that with whatever tyres you plan to fit they won’t foul the inner/outer wings, suspension, brakes etc.

Now you need to know what they look like. Well – at the moment I only have photos of the N.O.S. wheel. I will add a photo of the front of it – so that you can see the style/shape, and what they could look like if repainted (although you may not do them black). Also photo of centre with Part Nos etc. If you are interested – but want to see the actual Used wheels – let me know via a PM – and I will have to get them all down from the loft, and take some more photos.

Centre Caps – I also have some Silver/Plastic centre caps that I used with these wheels. They are not what came on the car (it originally had full-size wheel trims – long since gone). They would be “an extra” – but you can look at them, and we can discuss – if you come to see the Wheels.

I haven’t yet fully explored couriers – I generally use Hermes – I think possibly 2 wheels packed together would fit within Hermes maximum dimensions – so the set of 4 would need 2 parcels – but I need to do more weighing/measuring to confirm that – and to come up with a “price”.
Maybe you know a better way of getting something this size collected/delivered.
