My elderly mother has had to give up driving and the family is selling her 1988 'E' reg VW Polo L 1043cc on her behalf. The paperwork includes all MOT certificates issued and service documents. Mileage is 49,827 and current MOT (until April 2017) was issued only one mile earlier. A recent service accompanied this last MOT, but there were some minor advisories issued. Condition of the whole car is highly original, as shown by the photographs, with a very clean interior. The car has always been kept in a garage, or more recently in a car port. There are some minor dings around the bodywork and one substantial dent in the driver's side front wing. All of these defects were generated by a very elderly driver failing to negotiate the steel posts that define her carport, i.e. at very low speeds and not on the public highway. Please look at the photos for details. The car is not currently taxed, but may be viewed and driven off the public highway. If you want a starting point for the restoration of a low-mileage, fully documented Breadvan Polo, then this is a genuine, original car. Please call 0121 308 2521 (Sutton Coldfield, W. Midlands area) if you are genuinely interested. Price is £1100 ovno.

Is it still available?

  • Author

Yes, still available. My brother-in-law should be around this coming weekend to help out with access. His landline phone number is in the advert, but his mobile is 07707 588365. Give him a call if you'd like to view.

Thanks, Andy.
