Polo 6n2 speaker rattle??

Sorry to double post but I have Avery annoying rattle comming from both speakers but mostly the passenger side when any sort of bass plays would this mean the speakers have blew?

  • If they are the factory speakers, more than likely yeah.. they are literally made out of paper and are pants. They are 6 inch - you'll need component speakers too. fairly easy to replace and install.

If they are the factory speakers, more than likely yeah.. they are literally made out of paper and are pants. They are 6 inch - you'll need component speakers too. fairly easy to replace and install. also worth checking the wiring between the body of the car and the door as they are prone to split. Replaced all mine a few months back, took about an hour to do front and rear speakers including fixing the broken wiring, only tools needed are a pry tool/flathead screwdriver and a philips screw driver

Ahh thought as much! There are like 16 years old I guess luckily I have some new speakers to go in already!:) mine doesn't have the back speakers though so I guess it will take less time thankyou mate!
