The timing isn't adjustable as in other earlier cars, it relies on the camshaft timing being correctly set, then the timing is taken from the camshaft position sensor and the ECU adjusts it based on the info from the various other sensors against it's stored ignition maps

 

The Airbag ECU will only talk via CANbus readers

OK.. Could be a good idea to check the Airbag with VCDS then...

Not now your getting fuel supply, you've got the 3 things required, spark, fuel & air, but if they don't arrive at the correct time it just will not run, so now you have fuel & good spark, I'd be checking the camshaft physical timing

How do you check it properly? Camshaft sensor is new btw...

The immobiliser gives a few seconds of running and the makes the car die.........

As afr as I know, the Immo cuts the spark, and I get spark..

An immob fault would automatically flag up a fault code "Start blocked by Immob"

Dont forget that you are not seeing the spark inside the cylinder, you are assuming that there is a spark inside. Wet plugs do not spark because the gap is covered by the petrol. Try removing the plugs, cleaning and drying them, and dare I suggest it, increasing the gap a little.

Problem solved in the end..

 

It was the cathalytic converter that was totally clogged.. Coudnt even blow air trough it.. :)

 

A car needs more than spark, gas, and air... They need to be able to breathe as well :P 

It's sometimes the simple things that can catch you out.
