So great news, picked her up from the MOT this morning where she passed with flying colours! Not even a single advisory which I am very pleased about. Also got the tracking done before the MOT so very happy when driving her home.

As I put some money aside for the MOT just in case she failed it would be rude not to spend it on something else instead now. Just got to decide what on...

Wahey! Congratulations :drinks:

  • Spent this ideal easter sunday fitting the lowering springs I have brought recently. I gave all the Bolts a good spraying of WD40 the night before so none of them put up too much of a fight to get off

  • Last job on the list for now is new front tyres as they were well past due a change. After that it was a nice clean and now to enjoy the car a bit finally!

  • Haven't had much time to work on my car for the last month as I have been busy with moving out but I finally got some time today. The Foggy headlights have been annoying me for a while now so I brough

Unsure yet, been looking at wheels or an exhaust system. Maybe I should be sensible and sort the driveshaft and give her a good service as the lights on...

So small update, I have decided to go the sensible route and gave her an good service and sorted some small annoying problems she had. Proper modifications will hopefully come in the coming months when I have a bit more cash burning a hole in my pocket.

One main problem that came up this week is that my indicators stopped flashing. Made my journey home through london in rush hour very interesting. Singled it out to be the relay in the hazard switch so a new one was ordered and I fitted it today. Didn't realise I would have to take the whole dash apart to get to it but its done and all working now!

Here was the culprit

And all back together

Then as the old girl has just ticked over to 100k I thought I would treat her to a well deserved wash

Its with regret I have to update this to say the car is no longer mine now. I have been travelling abroad lots with work recently and for the foreseeable future so instead of letting her rot away parked up outside my house she has been sold to a new owner to enjoy!

Thanks for all the help and maybe I will be back again with a polo in the future!
