UNIVERSAL REMOTE LOCKING WIRING CONNECTION

Featured Replies

Hello

I have a universal remote locking kit and wiring diagram is useless as it does not tell which wire is suppose to do what.

red is obviously positive and black is negative. Rest of the top 6 wires (grey,brown,blue,green,yellow,yellow/black) for central locking.

hopefully someone may know better. i have a multimeter but dont know how to check for wires. As far as i know the actuator that you see in picture is negative trigger as the diagram of actuator says (no picture). when i press remote button (lock/unlock) the unit clicks as it is suppose to but actuator does not function. When i put the actuator to battery terminals (green to negative, blue to positve or vice versa) it goes up and down fine. So, dont know what to do next..
