12" mini wheels clear mk2f brakes?

Hey,

 

A bit new to vw's.  Had lots of mini's over the years.  A 1993 polo coupe came up for very cheap and had to have it!!  It's got it's standard 13" steels on it but, I heard people fit mini wheels and wondered if anyone had tried putting 12" on or will they not clear the brakes?
