Water in footwells 9n3

The last couple of days with the bad weather I've opened the car up in the morning to find puddles of water collected in both footwells of my 9n3 gti, I've been told maybe it's down to drainage channels in my sunroof. Was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Cheers guys
