  • Std with 6n 6n2, probably left the factory that way   It is common problem, replace or rebuild    Surely its possible to strengthen the box

well been hunting for replacement but getting nowhere finding an etf box  and trying to see what or if i can use other different coded box 

Being the SDI it still uses the 085 style gearbox, so any 6n2 gearbox will fit. Just need to find a good match for the current ratios.

 

If you look here, there are two PDFs that list all the 6n/2 gearboxes and their ratios.

cheers m8 had a look at i aint got a clue what im looking at lol according to the sticker in my boot my engine code is AGD and gearbox is ETF so what gearbox codes would be suitable for just a straight replacement without any problems ?
