Just wondering how different are the bumper fitments on the 9n to the 6n2? 

 

I have a 9n towbar available but I own a 6n2, Just wondering if it's worth trying to fit it?

On the 9n the arms of the towbar slide into the box sections under the boot floor but looking at the parts listing and the dealer workshop manual the 6N2 doesn't appear to have the same box sections ?

After a bit of googling they are completely different mounting :(

 

6N2 The bolts go from underneath with an extra bracket to pickup on the original crash bar mounting points

 

9N1/3. The arms go into the box section under the floor and bolt in the sides

 

 

 

Ok no worries, will have to find a 6n2 one then.
