Thought they'd stopped all car events - silly billys.

They had, but this year there are a couple of American car events according too their website ???

Follow the YELLOW route as shown in the map, if you came last year, it's the same route just turn left at the bottom and follow it on into the area marked in RED (to avoid it looking like another lake !!)

Yeah and everybody just bring with big canister/container/buckets or similar, cos the next water tap is above the "The Maize" writing on the map, at the facilities, far away.

The river trent beside us now leads water again, until last weekend it was on very low level that you could walk through it they say, should be good enough now for dish-washing or filling the pool for the beer-cans on saturday....
