Mk2f AVY 1.6 16v

Hello Polo people, Im looking at putting a 1.6 AVY (GTi) engine into my mk2f coupe running standard injection/management and have it looking OEM so alot of wiring to sort out but the main problem that iv got is getting around the fly-by wire, I know you can fit a AFH throttle body but that's not really away around it because the ECU will still think it's fly-by?? Any information would be great.
