Hello! 

 

I have an 83 Breadvan and looking for the best solution to subtly lowering it. 

 

It has 14" immitation g60 wheels and I am pretty sure that any lowing on the rear is going to scrape the arch - centre of tyre sticks slightly further out than the arch. 

 

If the front it just lowered (by around 40mm on springs) will it look too top heavy?

 

Does anyone have any other solution or experienced this?

choices are

 

get a wheel and tyre combo that dont contact the arch

 

or

 

smash the hell out of the arches with a hammer and ruin another polo , then break it for spares when fed up with it and no wants a polo with mullered arches

 

 

Option 2 is the common choice. Dont take option 2,

 

1 guy had a genuine panel van he got for 300, could have cleaned it up and got 1k for it but took option 2

 

Modify your car and enjoy it but dont do any permenant damage so you can get some money back at the end

No Polo breadvan among these examples so an arch roller won't help either.

My breadvan had 14" teardrops and a 40/60 kit. Only scrubbed with 2 in the back
