disable 6n immobiliser for mk2 engine swap

Featured Replies

Hi. I’m building a mk2 polo and I’m thinking of putting a 6n engine in using standard injection. What are my options when it comes to the immobiliser? Will I need to get the standard ecu reprogrammed?

I know there is a good thread on engine swaps but can’t seem to find any info on using injection opposed to using bike carbs.

any information will be appreciated or links to threads

thanks

liam

Thanks, I’ve just had a look and seems to be a lot of services turning 1.8t ecu’s off. I’ll try contacting some of them first, When I get round to it.
