Water leaks in boot/rear qurters

Hi,

I've been struggling to work out where the water has been coming in, i first noticed it when the central locking stopped working and found the module in the boot had water damage. I've also noticed water coming in from the same spot on the other side of the car.

I've put the hose over the car and can confirm it's not coming from the sun roof drainage as that runs out behind the rear bumper.

As per the photo below the water drips off the metal lip that I have outlined. It's above the rear light so that can't be the cause.
