I just started noticing on my '84  breadvan that it has some negative camber at the rears. It's more obvious now I have gone back to original width tyres.
Was this factory standard? Wear? Anything else?

According to the Haynes book (so it's probably wrong) , they're supposed to have no camber, but they all seem to have a bit, and it seems to look even. Like you say, you see it a lot more with skinny tyres on.

Which Haynes? My Book of Lies says

-30' +- 35' up to chassis number 86C W028390

and

-1°40 +-20' for 86C W028391 onwards

though I think Haynes went for long pub lunch while writing Chapter 12

I kept feeling guilty about not properly doing as told in the manual, but after translation I decided to start calling myself mr. Haynes 😛 

Just don't let that guilt extend to pouring gearbox oil into the clutch like some of the haynes manuals tell you to
