6N Polo Electric Window Conversion

Hi all,

Apologies if this is a duplicate post, but I didn't find anything definitive in my search so far.

I am looking into the possibility of retro-fitting my 6N1 3Dr Polo with electric windows. I was wondering if this is (electrically speaking) a simple case of plugging a wiring harness from the back of the fusebox to the switch and then from there to the doors. As well as if (mechanically speaking) the switching from manual to electric window regulators is simple or if it requires much fabrication. I'm hoping to keep the car as authentic to factory as possible, so I'd probably not go through with it if there is no neat way of doing it.

If anyone has done, or knows how to do this then I would be very appreciative of any advice that could be given.
