Dashboard lights

Hi all, 

Been along time since I've owned a polo mk3, so need some help jogging my memory. I've had it for about 6 months and I believe I have a problem with the air system (haven't looked into it just yet) , when checking out the dash for a engine light I noticed it wasn't on. 

Then I just turn the key to see what lights come on and the engine one didn't.. Could somone just tell me what lights are expected to come on when you do the bulb check as I'm worried the pervious owner or fuse has gone. I should of checked before I bought it, but it is what it is lol.  I thought they all come on (bar lights)?
