Will this Wheels/Tyres setup fit?

Featured Replies

Hi there everyone,

Just wondered if I could get some advice on a wheels and tyres setup that I'm thinking of running. The wheels are 4x100, 15", 8j, ET25 and the tyres are 195/50/15. The car is a MK2F Breadvan and has been lowered 40mm. Does anybody know if this setup would fit with no rubbing or problems?

Thanks for any replies, keep well everyone 👍.

Thanks a lot for your knowledge, think I'll stick with my G40 BBS at the moment. Having a Powerflow mid-to-back exhaust put on next week so I'll have something else to be interested in for a while hah

Ah ok thanks for letting me know, the hunt for new wheels continues! Just out of curiosity, what is the widest I can go without work?

Ok thanks a lot, I might be back later for more questions haha.

I think that 175/50/r15 on a 6" wheel with ET20 offset sits only 15mm (6/10ths of an inch) further out than a 165/65/r13 5.5" wheel with ET38 offset.

That'll likely still need the inner arch lip folding or cutting but I've not tried. Not many small tyres available for stretch fitment in other sizes.

Check clearance to suspension springs. Some lowering springs are fatter than standard.
