hello sorry for my bad english My gti has brand new timings and it still has fault code 17927 ( camshaft adjustment - permanent ) the vehicle runs, starts, epc does not light up, still the fault exists. replacing the cam sensor with another original one did not help. Or instructions for setting the VVT timing? The cam does not have a wedge. Which screw has a left or right thread? Tightening torque? Can VVT be set without a tool?? Thank you! Insert coupling side of locking flange T10075 into the inlet camshaft housing so that the locking pin -arrow- of locking flange locates in the small hole of the inlet camshaft axial bearing, and the lugs of the camshaft -1- locate in the recess of the locking flange -2

Carefully turn the inlet camshaft opposite to the engine direction of rotation onto stop and hold using the hexagon on the locking flange T10075.

In this position the tool must be in the same position as that achieved during the adjustment process i.e. the holes in the locking flange T10075 must align with the threaded holes in the camshaft housing -arrows-.

The rest of the assembly is basically a reverse of the dismantling sequence
