I got a hose that’s not connected to anything - I believe it’s a breather although I noticed a little fuel

come out, just wondering if should connect to somthing or not? Because I got fuel smell when driving along.  I’ve checked for leaked and air leaks etc.  I traced to the filler neck 😊

thats how they are , should be clipped to the edge of the tank iirc 

Filler neck of tank is very prone to corrosion. A whiff of fuel after a fill up was my first sign of the dreaded corrosion causing a pin hole in the filler neck.
