Polo 1.2 BMD Engine

Good evening 

Recently bought an 07 Polo 1.2 .project  It had misfire issues usual burnt exhaust valves plus some other jobs . Anyways sorted the running problems out new valves ,guides plus new timing chain . Runs a treat now , been driving it about a month now , however it does seem to be going through oil excessively. The first time I thought , or I told myself I’d not filled it up properly maybe an air lock after  the rebuild but not today when I checked it again after about 200 miles it needed topping up as it was on minimum, 650  ml to be exact . It’s a 1.2 55 S got a few extra bits on it good body good interior and was  cheap  . I don’t know it’s history it’s done 114000.Not too sure what’s going on with it doesn’t seem to be smoking excessively be a shame to get rid if it wasn’t worn rings . I’ve seen some stuff about faulty PCV anyone with similar experience. ?
