Hey 

need some advice please 

have a polo 54 plate 1.2 petrol non A/C

been having trouble with the drive belt 

my drive belt broke and 

the recommend drive belt replacement is to big 

any recommendations on what size to get

Should be 1453mm long, I think; what length is the one you're trying?  

If it is that length, are you routing it as shown here? 

 

My tensioner pulley sits on top on the drive belt

Yeah, sorry, the routing on that image must be the A/C version.

What length is the belt you have?

Isn't that an A/C compressor in your pic?!

I'm confused.

I have the 6pk 1453 and definitely don’t have A/C 

Is that photo you posted not your car then?
