Hi anyone.

 

I have a 2014 CJZC engine 1.2 tsi  66kw/90hp 16v car.

 

Could anyone reply with a list of the "change in temp" sensors in the engine bay area, with the OEM part numbers, and exactly where these sensors are located/connected ?    With the part numbers I can find them online and order replacements.

 

i.e.  oil temp sensor?, air temp sensor?, coolant temp sensor,  fuel temp sensor?, engine temp sensor?  somethingelse temp sensor?  :-)

 

(Basically I have a problem with the car's running smoothness which is 100% related to temp.   
I have decided just to blanket replace them all)

Oil temperature sensor is combined with oil level sensor in the sump, part number will be visible from below.

 

Coolant temperature sensor is the main sensor for engine temperature, not sure on physical position, usually a coolant flange on the engine head somewhere. (Two-pin connector with white/yellow and brown/yellow wires at sensor)

 

There are two in the air intake tract, both combined with pressure sensors, again I'm not sure of physical positions.

 

No fuel temp sensor as far as I know.

 

Part numbers will be much easier to find with VIN, please supply here or in a private message.

Oil level/temp sender - factory fitted 04E907660A superseded in 2016 by 04E907660D (currently £119 + VAT retail!) Very unlikely to be relevant in my opinion.

 

Coolant temperature sender 03F919501B £46.80 + VAT for genuine

 

item 5, on top of inlet manifold is one of the pressure sensors that has a temp sensor integrated: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The other pressure/temperature sensor is item 21 here, handily the same part number as the first one, so some cunning moving around of existing ones to see if symptoms change may be possible.

thx so much for the info.  I will skip the oil one for the moment, and, as you say, see if really has anything to do with the running issue.

I will replace all the others.  

Could you recommend either a decent hard printed book or decent purchasable PDF download Service and Repair manual for either my car or the CJZC engine ?
In the 80s and 90s I had Haynes.   Today on the net, every Tom,Dick&Harry are trying to sell some PDF.   

 

Your screenshots means that something decent must be out there, and you/others are happy with it.
